What the jobs report reveals about US population

U.S. employers added 146,000 jobs in November and the employment rate fell to nearly a four-year low of 7.7 percent.

Hiring remained steady during Superstorm Sandy and in the face of looming tax increases from the year-end "fiscal cliff."
